28 Dec welcome to the new
Earlier this year, I learned that when I renewed the website for my blog, I had only clicked on saving the email address. So, as a result of one small error, my entire site was wiped clean. Initially, I was heartbroken that my writing had vanished into the ether. But, that’s how it be sometimes. Despite our best efforts, we cannot always ensure predictable outcomes. Fortunately, with some hard work and a little bit of luck, I was able to reconstruct about half of my old entries which I have posted on this new site. I have also set multiple reminders to renew well in advance of the deadline. Fool me once and all that….
As I look back on the past few years, I see tremendous growth, both personally and professionally. I obtained master’s degree with a 4.0 GPA, started my journey in a new career as a licensed professional counselor intern, and founded a non-profit which will be active in the new year. I am setting goals and kicking some ass. One of the areas I have promised myself where I will commit more time is in connecting with others – writing regularly in this blog is an integral part of that process. So, expect to see at least an entry a week from me on my personal journey and other topics including mental health and wellness, creativity, and music. I hope you will join me.
